Dreamt of making brash and fearful threats up at the moon, then things got dramatic and abstract and the distance between myself and the moon closed. It wasn't starry but dark and sandy. I had struck it, and it fell at the same rate it shrunk, until we were back in my house, and the moon no bigger than a baseball burnt a hole through my floor, burrowing straight down into blackness, a slight orange burning glow the shape of a circle that seemed to get smaller was the only thing you could see in the hole. In some sort of powerful frustration I slammed down on my floor multiple times, there was alot of energy in my face and jaw as I yelled out words I couldn't really understand. I was a primitive beast but I was still right in my house looking into the hole. That's all I remember, other than a slight fear that it wouldn't come back, fears about the moon being small. I have no idea what my strength had to do with the moon or why I was shouting up challenges. I also highly doubt it's about hidden feelings as I am always confronting the deepest weirdest etc. In my own conscious mind and in anything I recieve. My dreams are often very stark when I'm stressed and show the exact things I'm stressed about, so that rules out the moon being a symbol of "emotional repression" or in other words I'm sure my subconscious isn't trying to reveal hidden unknown feelings. Also, when I woke up, I felt sort of proud when I realized what I did with such an important celestial body, I thought it meant power but after the dream nothing special happened, very normal life thus.
Dreams are complex and can be interpreted in a variety of ways, as they often tap into our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In the context of your dream, the moon could represent mystery, intuition, and the unconscious mind.
Your act of making brash and fearful threats at the moon could symbolize a desire to confront your own fears and insecurities. The dramatic and abstract nature of the dream suggests a deeper, more imaginative part of your psyche coming to the surface.
As the distance between you and the moon closed and the moon shrank, it could symbolize a sense of diminishing power or influence in your life. The moon's descent into your house and the subsequent burning hole in the floor could represent a disruption or change in your personal space or inner world.
Your primitive beast-like behavior, full of energy and frustration, could point to unresolved emotions or conflicts that you are grappling with. The fear that the moon wouldn't come back and concerns about its small size might reflect a fear of losing touch with your intuition or inner guidance.
Feeling proud or powerful upon waking up may indicate a sense of empowerment or mastery over your emotions and challenges. This dream may serve as a reminder to explore and confront your fears, embrace your inner strength, and trust in the cyclical nature of life and growth.
It's important to consider the symbolism in the context of your own life experiences and emotions. If this dream continues to linger in your mind, you may benefit from journaling about it or discussing it with a therapist to gain further insight.
